Professional context

  • Provisional NZAC membership pending.
  • I practise under regular supervision and work within a clear counselling scope. Some needs may sit outside what I can safely offer.
  • If that happens, I will say so clearly and support referral options where needed.

If a form feels easier or you want to say less at first, you can send a short enquiry instead. Both are fine.

Online sessions

How online sessions work

Sessions happen over a secure Google Meet video call, set up so it feels private, predictable, and unhurried.

  • Your calendar invite is anonymised, so it simply says something like “Meeting with John”, so nothing on your calendar names counselling.
  • A computer, tablet, or phone with a microphone and a reliable internet connection is enough. Earphones can help with sound and privacy. Camera off is welcome for both the intro chat and ongoing sessions.
  • A phone with a camera and earphones is a fine option, as long as you are somewhere safe and private. We can find what helps you feel most at ease.
  • If the connection drops and we cannot reconnect, I will phone you on the number you have given me so we can finish the session. Phone is only a backup, so you are never left mid-session without a next step.
